AT&T’s 1,000 Robots Are Doing Boring, Repetitive Work For Humans

A new article from The Wall Street Journal details how AT&T currently has more than 1,000 software robots doing routine, mundane tasks previously done by people.

The market for these types of robots is forecasted to grow from $250 million in 2016 to $2.9 billion by 2019. Experts say that artificial intelligence will eliminate 4 million jobs over the next five years.
